Birkbeck Building No 2

Description
No 8-10 Adelaide St E in Toronto Ontario was built in 1909 for the Canadian Birkbeck Investment and Savings Company. The site remained the property of Birkbeck and its successor, the Canadian Mortgage and Investment Company, until 1927 when it was sold to the Standard Bank. The building was designated a Heritage Property by The City of Toronto in 1976 and a National Historic Site of Canada in 1986. Original photography from 2019 using a Canon EOS 60D body with a Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens. Reprocessed using Silver EFEX Pro as a Lightroom plugin for the Black and White conversion.
